Invisible armor for your windshield.
SunPro Windshield Protection Film is a self-healing, optically clear layer engineered to absorb stone chips and road debris before they become cracks — without distorting the driver’s view. It conforms naturally to curved glass with zero heat forming, for a cleaner install every time.

Five layers. One job: protect the glass.
Every roll is engineered as a precision stack — from an impact-absorbing topcoat down to a glass-ready adhesive.

Real protection, zero distortion.
Engineered from a self-healing top coat and an elastic optical film, SunPro Windshield Protection Film absorbs impacts that would otherwise chip or crack an unprotected windshield — while staying virtually invisible to the driver.
Self-Healing Surface
Minor scuffs and swirl marks resolve on their own — accelerated with heat or steam — keeping the surface looking new. Verified with copper-brush testing.
Crystal-Clear Optics
90% visible light transmittance and less than 0.8% haze mean no distortion, glare, or haze in the driver’s line of sight, day or night.
Built for Curved Glass
The elastic optical film conforms naturally to curved windshields — no heat gun, no excessive stretching, and a faster, cleaner install.
The numbers behind the protection.
Every roll of SunPro Windshield Protection Film is tested against the following physical and optical specifications.
Physical Property
| Total Thickness | 12.4 ± 0.6 mil (Thickness gauge) |
|---|---|
| Adhesion Strength (24h, to glass) | 400 ± 20 gf/inch (ASTM D903) |
| Water Contact Angle | 100° (ASTM D5946) |
| Oil Repellency | Pass (Marker pen test) |
| Self-Healing | Pass (Copper brush test) |
Optical Property
| Haze | < 0.8% (ASTM D1003, haze meter) |
|---|---|
| Visible Light Transmittance | 90% (ASTM D1003 / LS 162 transmission meter) |
| UV Rejection | 99% (ASTM D1003 / LS 162 transmission meter) |

Application & care, simplified.
SunPro Windshield Protection Film is built for straightforward application and long-term performance. Keep these guidelines on hand for every install.
Storage
- Recommended application temperature: 64–74°F
- Recommended humidity range: 40–60% RH
- Avoid extreme high or low temperatures and high humidity
- Store the roll horizontally
Installation
- Unroll and cut only what is needed; re-roll and tape any excess to maintain tension
- Fully clean the glass surface of oils and debris before application
- Pre-cut the bottom section if pattern-cutting is difficult
- No heat gun needed — the film conforms naturally to curved glass; avoid overstretching
- Use moderate squeegee pressure for quicker, cleaner water removal
Maintenance
- Apply a dedicated top coat every 3–6 months to extend durability; avoid surfactant-based chemicals — washer fluid is safe
- Use a joint-type wiper, and clear debris or ice before operating wipers
- Avoid concentrating high-pressure washer spray on the film edges; high-temp steam helps activate the self-healing coating
Rework & Removal
- Best performed at room temperature
- Pull the film carefully to remove; a steamer is recommended in winter conditions
